UPDATE 

Well the match is over and an incredible EPIC success, the people, sponsors, weather, fellowship were all I could have hoped for. My thanks to all the sponsors, Ro's, stats staff, Rockcastle staff, Joe D and all of those who came and competed, spectators, side match enthusiast, etc. Some said it could not be done but I could not have asked for it to have gone much better.  As I said in the beginning "everyone will be a winner", and I think they were, new friends, great shooters bags from NRA, we raised thousands of dollars for great charities, met CEO's and folks from the industry, I could not be happier.

Thank you all for being a part of the best 3 gun I have ever been too!

Stages are well on their way and looking great , I wanted to quit working and shoot some of the AM stages the other day just for fun. If we can get done in time with all the preps then maybe I can try them out for the AM's so I can give them some pointers, well not much chance of that still far to much to do so you all can have a blast of a weekend, see you next week.

Please ensure all your paperwork is complete if you plan to shoot/ attend the match, have had several people contact us that were planning that had not completed entry/ applications to get them entered and in the scoring database and squadded for the big event. Unfortunately this is not a regular local event and space is limited, logistics are complex and no registration or squadding will be done the day of the match, sorry jsut isn't feasible. Good news is we do still have a few slots so it's not to late to join the fun!!

Stages are under construction and final match preps are underway, looking forward to the big day and ensuring you all have fun and get to see some great products from out sponsors!!

As we get closer to match time please remember that the match is run as a COLD RANGE, no loaded guns except under the supervision of a Range Officer, no handling of firearms except in designated SAFE AREAS, and no hndling of ammunition in those SAFE AREAS

2/21 Bushmaster and Black Hills Ammunition confirmed as Sponsors today!!!!!!!!  Looks like we will have an ACR and another Bushmaster blaster on the table and will have a bunch of 77 grain match ammo as well for some lucky shooters to take to the house after the match.  It just gets better every day.

Rockcastle Shooting Center, the nation’s premier shooting competition site is proud to team up with AR15.com and Brownells in announcing the inaugural AR15.com/Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship. The match will take place August 26–28, 2011.

Accomplishing their goal of taking the popular 3-Gun format to the next level, the AR15.com/Rockcastle Pro Am will have two distinct and separate shooting competitions going on simultaneously.

The nation’s top 3-Gun professionals will compete over two and a half days running eight challenging and technical stages designed by former and current 3-Gun champions. Amateurs will compete over two days shooting seven similar stages on a separate course also designed by 3 Gun greats, but tailored especially for the amateur and celebrity competitors. Over 500 shooters, across both divisions are expected to participate.

ARFCOM’s (http://www.AR15.com) and NRA Board Member Joe DeBergalis will be Match Chairman. Rounding out the team is Range Master, Kurt Miller and Statistician, Linda Chico.

This match will be the single largest gathering of competitors and sponsors in the history of 3-Gun.

The match  has also been named a points match for the 2011 FNH USA 3-Gun Nation Tour, Presented by SureFire. With points on the line, film crews will be on-hand to capture all the action for “3-Gun Nation Television,” set to air on Versus next year.

The Rockcastle Shooting Center is the newest addition to the Park Mammoth property.
